“Being able to express my broken but beautiful ‘stories of woman’ through the mediums of sculpture, with the spirit & medicine of the ancestral earth guiding my heart & my hands, has been one of the most liberating, healing, & beautiful journeys I have taken, enabling me to return more deeply to my wild, release the chains of society, & reclaim my peace…
‘She’ has been my teacher, my mother, my freedom”
~ Gaia Rose
London born with her maternal roots in Malay, Gaia Rose is a true philosophical wild woman with a natural ability to inspire, liberate, & remind other women how to stay rooted in their wild heart, find their voice, & deepen their human-nature relationship with life, with themselves, & with the healing seasons, freedom, & medicine of our great Mother Earth. She does this through her writing, her teachings, & her feminine sculpture collection ‘broken but beautiful’.
Since Gaia was a small child, being artistically creative has been an innate part of her soul, but due to many challenging life paths & traumas that arose much of her creative expression took a back seat, with her earlier years plagued with sexual & physical child abuse, neglect, homelessness, the loss of her big brother, & many emotional breakdowns along the way, but it was in these break-downs that she also found her greatest break-through, forcing her to return to her primal human-nature connection more deeply than before.
Gaia then slowly began healing & reawakening her creativeness by writing poetry & books, & over time focusing on verbally expressing also ~ singing, performing spoken word, spiritually mentoring women, & giving liberating yet philosophical talks & teachings to thousands of people from stage ~ passions she still has, then only in her later years felt inspired to return more deeply to her art once again.
Gaia is married with two adult children & two dogs, preferring a more quiet private life. When she isn’t creating her sculptures or weaving her poetic words, she spends her time growing natural medicines & journeying between England, Cyprus, & the mountains of Snowdonia.
Remembering…
We were wild once.
We were uncaged.
We told stories, wrote poetry, created art, and grew natural medicines.
We were born with our hands rooted in the soil, our honour & praise given to the great Mother, & our health & healing birthed in kinship with the Land.
We took our teachings from the elements of wind, fire, water, & earth, listening to their ever flowing wisdom, working together with her plants, her trees, her berries, her fruit, & her fungi, all which grows freely upon her ever evolving body.
But we have forgotten…
