Gaia Rose Sculptures not only honour her own ancestral Malay roots, but also share stories of healing & liberation, portraying how the natural surviving spirit & beauty of woman forever blossoms through the brokenness, the traumas, the inner seasons, & societal/systemic oppression ~ just like the resilience of nature ~ reminding us that we are not separate from the Earth, but are interwoven with each of her evolving cycles & seasons, holding within us all the wild healing wisdom to make every scar, imperfection, & brokenness more beautiful than before.

Unless in limited cast editions, each piece is completely original. Carved from clay & slowly fired, with the roses & leaves hand painted yet most of the bodies left bare using only gentle stains on some to enhance the rustic, warming, & natural ‘cotswold stone’ effect left by the firing.

Note: Gaia’s stoneware hand painted sculptures may be placed outdoors, but please be aware they WILL in time evolve with the elements.
